Pilgrimage to Apu Ausangate
Registration and a non-refundable deposit of $1,300, payable to Wellspring Sacred Journeys, are due by May 1.
In
Andean tradition, connecting ourselves with mountains (Apus) that
are high and imposing creates a natural leap to higher levels of
consciousness. The most sacred of
all the Andean Apus, Ausangate, was known in the time of the Inka as Apu
Coylloryti.
Every year, Andean communities make a special pilgrimage between May and
June to ascend to the summit and bring snow and ice back to the
communities to be used as medicine for the entire year.
This pilgrimage will allow you to become closer to your inner, most authentic self, and provide you with the opportunity to experience universal harmony and peace from the energy vortex of this mountain, Ausangate. This is a journey of the heart; a life changing opportunity to travel the path of Andean wisdom. With great enthusiasm and anticipation, we invite you to join us for the journey of a lifetime!
